WIWS: A bit behind schedule
This past Sunday was a little busy, as friends were visiting from out of town and we were hosting. Hence, I didn't get this post written day-of, but better late than never, right? Especially since I keep forgetting to blog until Sunday rolls around these days.
This may be one of my favorite outfits thus far, definitely ranking up there in my pregnancy-friendly, but non-maternity labels, wardrobe. All the pieces are just really comfy.
Annie update for the sake of distant relatives, and posterity:
Her vocabulary consists of (although she understands much more than she says):
"Da-da" (Of course)
"Hi!"
"Buh-bye!"
"Cheese!" (which is actually Jesus, as that's what she points to. Hopefully she doesn't think that cheese is vying with Our Lord for importance in this house. We do love our cheese! :)
"BAY-bee!" (when seeing one or a picture of one, while holding her doll, patting her stomach, or any part of Michael or my torsos. Yea, we have some work to do on that one)
"PIT-tee!" (Pretty - while pointing to flowers anywhere/on anything, or my earrings/jewelry)
"Pease" (Please - trying to teach her to say it via teaching her the sign, which she learned in about 2 days)
"Baaay (or) Beeeee" (Bear - either used, or both)
"Room rooom!" (car/any vehicle she hears)
"ooof ooof!" (woof woof/ruff ruff = dog - anytime she sees one, or hears one of our many neighborhood dogs barking)
"oooOOOOooo" (Moo, obviously)
"Uh-oh" (when something is dropped)
She also babbles quite a bit to herself, "reads" books aloud, bobs her head and clicks her tongue or claps when there's upbeat music on, steals any and all fruit and carbs she can get her hands on, is getting the hang of blowing kisses (new this week!).... and more things that I can't remember at the moment.
Take some time and reconnect with an old friend - I love how we were able to pick right up and it seemed like they were here only yesterday (well, aside from the new additions to the family).

Just thought her peek-a-boo face was too cute not to share. And look, a bow! Staying in her fine hair!
23 week bump! And a clingy toddler.
Pitty!

She's pretty entertaining.
And I was so thrilled to see my friend Liz and her two little ones on Sunday - she and her husband were in my class in college, and moved to ND two years ago. We haven't seen them since... before our wedding, I think? And ND isn't a hop-skip-jump away for either of us to travel, so this was a real treat!
Many takes and more goofiness went into getting everyone to look at the camera :)
