WIWS: 21 Weeks edition!

I haven't been able to blog much of late due to the business of Holy Week/the Triduum, and then a road trip to visit family in Georgia for nearly a week. And then recuperating. And drinking coffee. And recuperating some more. And cleaning. Oh, and Michael's mom has been staying with us since the trip, and she's been such a Godsend because the woman has superpowers in the cooking, cleaning, and baby entertaining department. Grandma extraordinaire.

She'll walk on her own soon, I know it.
So this is what we all wore today - tomorrow is our 2-year wedding anniversary, so I thought a family picture would be appropriate:

Dress: The Limited. Jacket: H&M
Annie's outfit: Zulily, last summer, and a repeat of her Easter attire
Michael: dapper, as usual

Someone was ready for her nap, hence the fact she was clinging to "Mr.Bear"
And, finally a decent baby bump picture! 21(ish) weeks:

Annie may have been playing peek-a-boo with my skirt. Dangerous in the crazy winds we had blowing through today!
I know, I've been told I carry small, and everyone chalks it up to my height. My torso is actually regular length, maybe even on the shorter side - all the height is in my legs! I have friends with "long" torsos who are taller than me when we sit side by side, yet I have 4-5 inches on them when we're standing. So weird. Anyway, I guess the baby's just hiding away in there somewhere - I definitely feel it!

Oh, and since I never got around to posting a WIWS picture for Easter, here we are in our spring best:
Seersucker suit and bowtie, sailor suit, wide-brimmed hat = Easter finery
The resolution isn't great because we used a phone for a "Quick! Before everyone looks disheveled from chasing small children around after mass!" picture. The weather was just perfect, though, an Annie behaved pretty well, crawling around in the choir loft while Michael and I sang a polyphonic mass and several motets with the choir.

Hopefully I'll get around to blogging about our road trip one of these days, but it may not be until school is out, after next week.

Linking up with the ladies of FL&P. Have a great day!

  1. What a good-looking family! I have super long legs, too, so I understand your pain. I'm almost invisible to cars behind me when I'm in the driver's seat, but I won't meet people when I'm seated because it's so shocking when I stand up for the first time. #tallgirlsunite

    1. Oh, thank you! And yes, we must stand together - sometimes literally ;)

  2. Totally awesome and fab everything ... love the pics and your glam look at mass today ... you looked slightly prego going into the bathroom with Annie but then the baby bump was gone every time I saw you after that (during mass - hee hee!).

    1. I can always trust you to give me the low-down on how preggo (or not) I look at any given moment, Alex, lol :)

  3. That polka dot dress is pretty and I really love it with the jacket. Your bump is adorable, I'm kind of missing that cute bump stage now that I'm so huge :)

    1. Thank you! And I think YOU look adorable - I bet you don't even look preggo from the back, you have such a cute round bump! Looking forward to hearing some exciting news from your quarter any day now - Mother's Day would be sweet :)

  4. The peek-a-boo with the skirt is so adorable but so obnoxious at the same time! Elizabeth ALWAYS does it with me, and then gets stuck under my maxi skirts, and then starts freaking out that she can't get out... You'd think she would learn, but no!

    1. I know, and Annie is STILL refusing to walk without cutting off the circulation in at least one of my fingers, or clinging to my legs (awkward much in maxi skirts, I'm always hiking them back up!)
