We attended the wedding of two friends yesterday, Michael was part of the choir and I designed their programs. It was really beautiful, and I'm so happy to see them together - God grant them many years!
Alas, I don't have any pictures of what we wore, but Annie sported one of those monstrous flower headbands with matching socks and looked oh so ridiculously cute. Maybe Michael has one on his phone I can post later...
Anyway, I managed to find baby napping moments yesterday morning to curl my hair so as to get it in an easier up-do, and it's still curly today - I never wear it down anymore because (a) it just takes too much effort to tame via blowdry/mousse and diffuser/whatever, and (b) it's too darn hot. This morning was cooler, however, when we left for mass so the hair stayed down and munchkin wore long sleeves before she grows out of this darling dress.

Baby dearest was snoozing away in her carseat when Michael took the above, but I had to get a picture of her in this dress. My Aunt, who dotes on us and her grand-nieces because she has no daughters, went nuts in a high-end children's boutique when it was closing and found this little gem (kind of looks like things I wore as a baby).

Annie and I accessorized with a hat and jewelry, as well - she looked like a porcelain doll from 1910 and I'm seriously coveting my
sister-in-law's jewelry offerings. She let me borrow some pieces for the wedding yesterday, and I know what will be going on my birthday/Christmas wish lists this year!

Annie gets an A for mass behavior because I had to feed her upon arrival, but she was asleep by the homily and remained asleep in my arms through the remainder of mass. Hooray!
Poor baby's been a little fussy for the rest of the day, though, I think due to over-stimulation at the wedding reception last night. She's currently napping, so time for me to go get some things done. Enjoy your Sunday, and head over to
FL&P and leave some comments of "Sunday best" encouragement!
There is nothing about these photo I do not love. You look lovely and your sweet baby girl looks just as beautiful. As for the bracelet, stunning. Just stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out, Bethy. You're the best! By the way, I had so much fun hanging out with you and Annie on Friday. :-) Glad we could make it work.
