Today was another roaster, but thankfully some thunderheads rolled in and blessed us with a little water. The matchy-matchy polka dots was unintentional, but worked out kind of summery and cute, I think.
Annie has reached the "chatty" age for mass behavior, which is frustrating because she doesn't understand "Shhh!" yet - she just keeps kind of humming and babbling to herself, which is *honestly* super-cute, except when trying to keep her quiet at mass. So Michael and I were both up and down with her a few times, pacing in the back, shoving our fingers in her mouth for her to chew on, etc. trying to just keep her quiet. I think the early stages of teething are upon us, as she's started drooling like a fountain and keeps finding a fist or finger to gnaw.
