Radiantly You: Product Review!

So, this is installment one of my long-overdue product review which I said I would do for a friend from college. She is a consultant for the product line Radiantly You, a line of organic, natural (and affordable!) health, beauty, baby, and cleaning products. Check out the link above for her page, and you can make purchases right from her site!

Anyway, in prep for Easter and relatives visiting, my little one decided to get a stomach bug and bog down my cleaning efforts. *sigh* Hence, pretty much everything has a layer of dust and soap scum in our house. I asked Megan if I could get some of the All Natural Tub Scrub, and when it arrived I set to work attacking the nastiness of our master bath tub. I just used small amounts of the powder on a scrubbing pad, which worked great until I had to add a little elbow grease to the floor with a tub brush, mostly due to the non-slip textured surface of the floor.

I hope you can see the dirt lines in these pictures - the lighting in that room isn't the greatest, so I tried to play around with the flash to get clearer shots.

A "before" shot of the whole tub. Note the nasty floor and pink line around the bottom.

Before: Nastiness in the corner where my shampoo sits.

After: Sparkling!

Gross floor with dirt ground in between the texture.
Before: Pink ring of scum, reminiscent of a certain Cat in the Hat book. Bleh.

After: Sooo much better! I know it's hard to tell it, and think the tub is permanently stained in this corner anyway from prior use.

And now for the 1/2-way through shots.

Cleaning from right to left - see that line? This stuff works wonders!

Line of scum demarcation.

Close-up of the floor - again, this area needed a little extra cleaner and TLC with a brush, but it looks great now!

Another shot of the partially clean floor... and the shadow of my camera. Oh well.
And one of the best parts? Not only is my tub cleaner than it's been in months (Helloooooo mommy bath time!), but it smells all citrus-y and heavenly. None of that nasty chemically smell that takes forever to air out, even with a fan on. AND, I don't have to freak out if my toddler gets into this stuff = win win!

So, if you want some affordable and natural cleaners, beauty and health products, or safe things for your littlest, check out all the products via Megan's shopping page - they're well worth it!

Stay tuned in the next week or so for another Radiantly You product review, their Dead Sea Whipped Face Wash!
